Intel Breakthrough Wireless charging

Intel has announced that it has made breakthrough in a wireless charging technology which means that Gadgets could be powered without cables. According to Newyork times Intel could now charge a device wirelessly with loosing 25% of the Energy.

Google Launches Knol

Software Giant Google today launched its knowledge base called Knol ( Directly targeting wikipedia i would assume). Although still in BETA stage Knol aims to target user's who want any sort of information, quite similar to wikipedia, all its content just like youtube is quite frankly user genrated which means users with knowledge will be contributing to the site, Its quite interesting to see that when you type knol into google , the first reply is not the knol site. its a google site with some financial reviews. i really dont know how google managed that. Also a few minutes ago when i typed in www.knol.com it generated a foreign site. it's then that i understood what was going on the website is actually knol.google.com, which for google standard should have been www.Knol.com atleast considering its a new thing. So this time around its nothing new for google, its more about expanding into everything they can get their hands into.
Greedy but Google!!!

This is also a free and powerful alternative to Winzip, to be honest it could get better.It works like a charm and moreover it does it's job efficiently i.e Unzipping files , extracting files etc...
Recommended as a download and worth keeping as default Archive manager for windows xp/vista/all

Its is arguably the only media player that plays almost any format. It also plays subtitles very efficiently and easily. For those of you who have already hooked on to firefox, there's a vlc media plugin available , Life just got Richer.

This is a replacement for those who cant afford to buy Microsoft Word, Powerpoint i.e Mirosoft Office. Personaly i think this is less resource hungry compared to the previous versions of Office and moreover its as easy to use. Office for FREE!

Imgburn is arguably the best dvd burning software , its free and it works well if you use Handbrake to rip your dvd files, then use IMG burn to burn it to a disk, it's a powerfull and free alternative for those who want to burn image files i.e ISO,DMG etc...

VIACOM VS GOOGLE (YOUTUBE)

It has been of grave concern for many internet users, Viacom the giant has indeed no respect for ordinary people and as many of us know , It (Viacom) sued Google (The owner of youtube) for a stupid sum of $ 1 billion, thats the price for freedom i would think.
For those of you thats been living a life of ignorance, Youtube and the Internet are the only free tools that normal citizens of this planet could raise opinions and share thoughts and express themselves freely.
I think anybody that tries to clamp down on the internet and what it stands for i.e FREEDOM, are devilish advocates of their own oversized pockets.
The good news is Youtube will not be shutdown. That means all of us could watch our favorite songs or videos without caring a donkeys arse about who owns them. Because for us its a medium of expression. However it is understandable that people who actually made those videos i.e Film makers and producers like myself have no money. this is a popular argument.
i think its got nothing to do with money. If your going to loose millions by showing people what the world deserves to see, then how did u make those millions in the first place?
There has also been a controversy on virgin media a.k.a Mr.Richard Branson who is also getting clever ideas and wants to charge people for viewing every website. I seriously think you need medical attention Mr. Branson.
However there is hope and Viacom has more or less got a slap on the face and a shitload of user data for which they will be spending millions trying to sort out. The bad news is loads of users like you and me who never thought the stuff we wanted to show our friends or loved ones were some idiots copyrights , things that we thought were really kewl, our names and ip addresses are with Viacom.
They Think they know who we are....ha ha ha....get a life guys and do what you were good at doing dont waste everyones time.
Trust me, you come to any of our houses , u know what your going to get , just like what google gave u in a legal way.....A SLAP ON THE FACE!
